The MEINL Headliner Series djembe, carved from one solid piece of plantation grown Mahogany, features a hand painted Gecko design and the traditional Mali-Weave rope tuning system. The rope tuning, combined with the hand selected goat skin head, gives the djembe a warm, full-bodied tone. With outstanding acoustic properties, MEINL Headliner djembes can produce deep, resonant bass notes as well as cutting, high-pitched slaps, making them ready to be played right out of the box.
To protect your instrument, MEINL offers specialized carrying bags for their percussion products. The MEINL djembe gig bag (Model# MSTDJB) is designed to fit all djembe sizes and is equipped with heavy-duty nylon stitching and a strong shoulder strap, providing added security for your drum.
The 10-inch playing surface of the MEINL Headliner Series djembe makes it an excellent choice for live acoustic performances and spontaneous jam sessions or drum circles. Crafted from plantation grown Mahogany wood and featuring hand selected goat skin heads, the djembe is pre-stretched with nylon tuning ropes in the traditional Mali-Weave tuning system, ensuring a consistent and reliable performance every time.
