HAND HAMMERED SURFACE: The sound of Meinl Hammered Cowbells is shaped by hand hammering the steel, which creates craters on the surface and brings out dark undertones with a lower pitch.
WHY IT MATTERS: The extra-dark punch of this bell's frequencies, which sit lower than most traditional (non-hammered) cowbells, can lift your grooves with deep sound.
DRIVING THE SOUND: These cowbells are made with a special steel alloy that produces a clear-cutting attack note with medium sustain, filling the space.
ONE BIG THING: You can easily mount this cowbell on your setup; its 3/8" eye bolt tightens down fast on a cymbal stand or percussion rod, providing a secure hold that stays in place.
OF NOTE: Meinl Chrome Finish Cowbells are made in a series of melodically pitch-matched models (each sold separately), allowing you to combine two or more to get melodic sounds and a wider tonal range.
